In that sense, you can make music it with it from the get-go, and there are lots of sophisticated examples to help you learn it. There are two programming layers in it, and the lowest level Core is intensely detailed, it\’s essentially raw signal processing going on in a patching language similar to MSP. It\’s not for the faint of heart, and it\’s time consuming. The upper level is better, and the facility for putting together interfaces for ensembles is pretty good. Out of all the NI stuff, Reaktor is probably my favorite.
